Webinar: Costing of COVID-19 vaccine introduction and deployment: lessons from Ghana

Part of the fall 2021 inaugural webinar series of the Immunization Economics SIG that focuses on current research relevant to the immunization economics community of practice.

CVIC is a tool that facilitates a comprehensive assessment of the costs of introducing and implementing COVID-19 vaccinations in countries. The tool also supports planning and budgeting for COVID-19 vaccinations, as well as regular costing to inform economic evaluations. The talk with highlight the need, methods and findings of the Ghana exercise, but also the feasibility of implementing the CVIC in-country, and the key lessons that could help other contexts.
